EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy)

EAP_p1Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a psychotherapeutic technique, which has been developed by incorporating horses to facilitate and promote health, wellness and change in people who are not functioning effectively within their daily lives.

EAP is experiential in nature. Participants learn about themselves by participating in activities with horses and then discussing feelings, behaviours and patterns. We see equine therapy as part of an holistic approach to helping individuals work through various problems.
